From a previous conversation on Facebook, I've done some research on Frank's tiara (crown?) in the floorshow. My best guess is somewhere in between. It has more coverage than the front facade of a tiara, but I'm still not certain it's a complete crown, either. I believe either would look fine on stage - and unless your hair gets wet and flattened like Frank's then it's probably going to hide the details either way. I will say the mini-tiaras I've come across are much less expensive than the mini-crowns I've found. I think what counts the most here is that you're getting that glimmer from the rhinestones, and of course those feathers sticking up.
